Full property description
The City of London really is the city within a city with the Lord Mayor as it’s head! And the best part is that one little corner of it is all yours.
Of course the best way to explore this perfect pad is to take a guided tour. Both double bedrooms have an upmarket boutique-y feel with wedgwood blue walls in one, a stunning sleigh bed with walnut wood frame in the other. Lighting is tasteful to set the mood: glass-based bedside lamps or antique lamps for softer lighting or a wall hung tea light holder for those more romantic moments. The third room, a single, offers flexibility if you wish to add another guest to your booking.
The next stopping off point is the well appointed kitchen. This kitchen combines elegance and functionality: white cupboards topped off with black marble work tops, a feature mantelpiece at one end and an island unit that doubles up as a breakfast bar or as a temporary deskspace if you need to catch up on those work emails (wifi is provided). There will always be fresh, locally-sourced flowers to greet you on arrival.
Quality is the hallmark of this property and never more so than the main bathroom. Marble style floor to ceiling tiling in honey-coloured tones with white bathroom furniture. The colour theme continues into the second bathroom which is finished with floor to ceiling mosaic tiles in the bath area.
Now step over the threshold into the living area. Terracotta walls and wooden flooring throughout create an incredibly inviting atmosphere. There’s plenty of space to recline on the high quality sofa or perhaps have a chat over a coffee whilst relaxing.
This tour wouldn’t be complete without a gentle stroll around the garden. The paved walkways mean you can get up close to all the shrubs and flowers which in the warmer months are a riot of colour.
We’d like to finish this tour by leaving you with some suggestions for other places to visit: The Barbican, St Paul’s Cathedral and One New Change should all be on your itinerary.
